Diverse Women in Media Initiative
NALIP’s Diverse Women in Media Initiative (DWIMI) seeks to empower, inspire and advance women of diverse backgrounds to influential positions in media to improve diverse representation in front and behind the camera.
As part of its mission, the annual Diverse Women in Media Forum (DWIMF) is a member-exclusive event that brings together diverse women to meet, inspire and empower each other.
In the forum, attendees will learn from trailblazing industry women leaders and learn from sessions to come away with fresh ideas and connections to influence the future of women in media.
For the last twenty-three years, NALIP has been devoted to the advancement of Latine creatives across all media platforms. Today, we stand as the premier and leading organization championing the support and advocacy of Latine content creators. NALIP’s programs and events aim to propel the careers of diverse and Latine creatives through connections, resources, mentorship, and valuable insight about the state of media and entertainment. Standing at the forefront of systemic change within the industry, our organization works with industry leaders towards seeing a more inclusive future both on and off screen.
